Jan Truman
Jewel for the Landscape
A temporary installation at the Eden Project, Cornwall, inspired by the Project and its Eco message.
This floating sculpture, comprising of seven linked modules, echoes the biomes distinctive honeycomb structure. Corks keep the triangular platforms buoyant, whilst the colourful arched ribbons rise up then transform into circles across the water surface: a metaphor symbolizing the cyclic journey of water, via rain clouds, land, rivers, oceans then back into clouds, plus our fragile inter relationship with nature.
